On March 29, 2026, at approximately 8:23 P.M., Wright County Sheriff’s Deputy Anderson was on routine patrol in the City of St. Michael, Wright County, Minnesota, when he observed a 2004 Buick Century exiting the Holiday gas station on Highway 241. Deputy Anderson observed the vehicle stop past the stop sign exiting the gas station. After the vehicle left the gas station, it crossed over the lane divider lines heading into a roundabout. After observing this driving conduct, Deputy Anderson activated the overhead lights on his marked squad.
The driver of the vehicle, later identified as Jason Wayne Dynneson, 09 23 77, hereinafter defendant, pulled to the side of the road, but continued to drive at a slow pace. As the defendant approached Naber Avenue NE, he accelerated hard and proceeded through an intersection with a red stop light. The defendant continued into the parking lot of a business and traveled to the southeast corner of the parking lot where it appeared the defendant was going to attempt go through the ditch and re- enter Highway 241. The defendant drover over the parking lot curbing and became disabled prior to entering a drainage ditch.
The defendant exited his vehicle and began to run from the scene despite Deputy Anderson’s verbal command to stop. A foot pursuit ensued and Deputy Anderson apprehended the defendant. A search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of a small amount of a white crystal substance which field tested positive for methamphetamine. A check of defendant’s driving status revealed That the defendant’s driving privileges are cancelled as inimical to public safety.
