That your complainant is a peace officer employed by the Rochester Police Department who was advised of the following by law enforcement officers with that agency, known to your complainant to be truthful and reliable: On June 12, 2025, at 3:14, P.M., Officer Matthew Norland responded to call regarding a shoplifting at uBreakFix, located at 2986 41st. St. NW, in the City of Rochester, County of Olmsted, State of Minnesota. Upon arrival, Officer Norland spoke with the store manager of the store. The manager reported that adult male he recognized as Justin Lynde enter the store.
Officer Norland later identified the male as Justin Eugene Lynde, 7/21/1984, hereinafter referred to as Defendant. The manager reported that after entering the store, Defendant proceed directly past a glass wall that included signage that said, “Employees Only.” After passing the wall Defendant picked up two cell phones and started running towards the exit. The store manager started to chase Defendant out of the store. Defendant dropped the phone and continued to run. Officer Norland reviewed surveillance video and confirmed the events relayed by the manager.
The value of the two phones were $479.99, and $349.99. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: YOU MUST APPEAR FOR EVERY COURT HEARING REGARDING THIS CASE.
