On December 23, 2025, officers had a search warrant for Defendant Shoulwin Melbrook Davis [DOB REDACTED] and his Blue GMC Terrian (MN TAY 306). On that date, officers found Defendant's car parked in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota, with Defendant in the driver's seat. When officers moved in to stop and arrest Defendant pursuant to the search warrant, officers pulled to the front of Defendant's car and could see him still sitting in the driver's seat of the Blue GMC Terrian. He was the only person in the GMC Terrian.
When officers approached Defendant's car, they were in marked police cars and had their emergency lights on. Seeing this, Defendant put his truck in reverse and hit a squad car that was positioned behind his truck. As Defendant put his car in reverse, officers got out of their squads, told Defendant to stop, and that he was under arrest. Officers told Defendant to put his hands up and Defendant put both hands above the steering wheel confirming to officers that he did hear officers' commands. After being given these commands, Defendant fled the scene in his GMC Terran.
Officers found the Terran unoccupied and surveillance officers aired that Defendant had gotten out of the truck and walked into Powderhorn Park. Defendant is currently in custody.
