At around 11:45 pm on March 29, 2026, officers were sent to the apartment building at [ADDRESS REDACTED], St. Paul, Ramsey County on a domestic. Officers spoke to BJL [DOB REDACTED] who said her boyfriend, RAMONE DASHON HUNTLEY-PATTON [DOB REDACTED], had assaulted her. BJL said they have dated since December 2025 and Huntley-Patton had been staying with her at her apartment. BJL said Huntley-Patton came over and they got into an argument about soap on the floor. The argument turned physical. Huntley-Patton pushed BJL and screamed, “I’ll fucking kill you, bitch!” Huntley-Patton punched the left side of BJL’s lip and eye area.
BJL fell to the floor, and Huntley-Patton hit her chest and arms several times. Huntley-Patton put his hands around BJL’s neck, but BJL thought she could breathe when he did so BJL kicked Huntley-Patton and screamed for help. Huntley-Patton threw BJL’s phone across the room. BJL retrieved her phone and called 911. Huntley-Patton then left. BJL said Huntley-Patton threatens her daily and it is getting worse. She said he has threatened to harm her if she calls police. Officers arrested Huntley-Patton in the neighborhood.
Huntley-Patton was advised of his constitutional rights and agreed to speak to police. He said he was at the apartment to do laundry. He got into an argument with BJL about the mess in the apartment. Huntley-Patton said BJL was a friend. Huntley-Patton then admitted they have a sexual relationship. Huntley-Patton said BJL blocked him from leaving and hit him. He pushed BJL to the side so he could leave, and she slipped. Huntley-Patton has 2 prior qualified domestic violence-related offense convictions within the past 10 years: On April 12, 2018, Huntley-Patton was sentenced on an assault in the third degree in Ramsey County District Court file 62-CR-17-9296. The case involved a different woman.
