The Complainant having reviewed the applicable reports believes the following facts to be true: On October 30, 2025, officers with the St. Paul Police Department were dispatched to a residence on Minnehaha Avenue in the City of St. Paul, County of Ramsey, State of Minnesota for a reported domestic assault. Upon arrival, they spoke with M. L. J., fully identified in the police reports. M. L. J. Reported that she just got home with her boyfriend, Niko Demetrius Smith Greenwood, [DOB REDACTED], the defendant herein.
While they were still in the defendant’s vehicle, he slammed her head around. They both exited the vehicle. The defendant grabbed M. L. J. In the chest area and threw her to the ground. M. L. J. Told her daughter, W. H., fully identified in the police reports, to call 911. The defendant told M. L. J. That he would “f*** [her] up” during the assault. He got back into the vehicle and fled the scene. Officers also spoke with W. H., who reported that she inside the residence when she heard some yelling.
She looked out the window and saw the defendant standing in front of M. L. J. The defendant grabbed M. L. J. By her chest and threw her to the ground. W. H. Ran to the kitchen to grab a knife. M. L. J. Entered the residence and W. H. Locked the door behind her. The defendant then drove off. The defendant was convicted of felony domestic assault on July 31, 2018 in Court File ••-CR-••-••••.
