On April 2, 2026, officers with the Metro Transit Police Department were on routine patrol in the area of 7th Street and Nicollet Mall and observing CCTV surveillance. Officers saw two individuals known to them drinking form a container labeled as Four Loko Grape while inside the bus station. Officers recognized one of the individuals as ANTOINE STEVEN BOUIE, [DOB REDACTED], “Defendant” herein. Officers approached and detained Defendant who provided a false name and false date of birth of February 21, 1992. Upon completing a records check officers learned Defendant had a felony active arrest warrant in Hennepin County.
In a search incident to arrest officers located several tiny plastic baggies typically used to distribute narcotics. Inside one of the baggies in Defendant’s pants pocket officers located suspected methamphetamine. Defendant said “that’s’ for me to smoke.” The suspected methamphetamine field-tested positive for methamphetamine and weighed.07 grams without packaging. Defendant has previously been convicted of gross misdemeanor Fifth Degree Drugs on or about February 19, 2020, in 7-CR-20-1808. Defendant is currently in custody.
