On 10/19/2025 at 00:57, Prior Lake Police Officers were dispatched to Little Six Casino, Prior Lake, Scott County, Minnesota, to investigate a narcotics complaint. At the scene, Mystic Lake Security gave the officers a small plastic baggie containing a white crystallized substance, which field tested positive for methamphetamine and weighed 1.7 grams. Security told the officers they had video surveillance coverage of the suspect who had dropped the baggie and this individual was still on property.
The male was later positively identified as Markeith James Dion Lenow, [DOB REDACTED], hereinafter the Defendant. The officer watched the video surveillance coverage and observed the following in summary: On 10/19/2025, at approximately 00:25 the Defendant and unidentified female and unidentified male enter in the main doors together. At approximately 00:25, the Defendant walked into the establishment wearing a white baseball hat, camo printed jacket and jeans. While he was walking in he was digging through his pockets.
At 00:25 a plastic baggie falls out of the Defendant's right front jacket pocket as he is pulling his hand out of his pocket. Security reported the Defendant was now standing in line at a cash machine. Officer and security approached the Defendant. The Defendant was taken to the security office. The Defendant told the officer: He does use meth. He doesn't have anything else on his person. He had been struggling with addiction for a very long time. He is on probation. The Defendant was released at the scene.
The suspected narcotics were sent to the BCA for testing. ON, [DOB REDACTED] the officer received the result of the testing from the BCA Forensic Laboratory, which showed the substance tested positive for methamphetamine, a Schedule II Controlled Substance, and weighed.63 grams.
