On 11/11/2025 at approximately 0857 hours, Officers responded to a report of a burglary at an apartment complex at 36** Hazelton Road in Edina, Hennepin County. It was reported that the burglary occurred at approximately 0035 hours on 11/11/2025. Officers arrived and made contact with the reporting party who is also the apartment building manager, Witness herein. Witness reported that two individuals—a male and female—forced their way into the apartment building’s main entrance then forced their way into the mail room where they stole packages.
Officers observed fresh pry marks and damage to the main entrance door. Officers were also shown security camera footage that showed the two individuals forcing their way into the apartment building, entering the mail room, and leaving with two black garbage bags that appeared to be full. Witness estimated that approximately 15 packages were stolen. Officers were also shown footage of the vehicle that the individuals arrived and left in. A KOPS alert was placed on the vehicle. On 11/12/2025 at approximately 1100 hours, Officers located and conducted a traffic stop of the vehicle.
The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was Jennifer Margaret Brolin, [DOB REDACTED], Defendant herein. Officers observed that Defendant matched the person seen in the security camera footage of the burglary. Defendant was arrested for burglary. During a post-Miranda interview, Defendant admitted that she and Nicholas Andrew Gallichant, [DOB REDACTED], Co-Defendant herein, used a screwdriver to force entry into the apartment building and to stealing packages. Defendant admitted that she and Co-Defendant stole approximately 8-10 packages each.
On 11/14/25, Officers received an email from Witness who reported that Defendant and Co-Defendant returned to the property on 11/12/25 at approximately 0259 hours, forced entry into the building and the mail room, and stole additional packages. Officers were provided security camera footage of the incident. Defendant is not in custody.
