On April 11, 2026, at 0851 hours, Ramsey County deputies responded to the 2600 block of Ruth, Little Canada, Ramsey County, on a report of a domestic assault. Deputies spoke to NDT, [DOB redacted]. She reported that her boyfriend, Jmari Malik Walker, [DOB redacted], came to her residence. He was yelling and cussing at her for no reason. He started looking for her phone. He was throwing things around in her residence. He found her phone and left for a short time. He returned and started to assault her.
The assault lasted for two hours. He punched her all over her body. He would not allow her to get up. He also elbowed her in the head. He said, “Today is my daughter’s birthday and we’re both going to die today, today is the last day that you live.” He added, “before I go to jail, I am going to kill you.” He choked her with his hand on her throat. She lost consciousness for a brief period and came to while he was punching her. She felt as if she was fighting for her life. She felt like she was going to die.
She managed to escape and run from the house. She ran across the street. He came out and opened his trunk on his car. She feared he was going to throw her in his trunk. She ran further away. He left the scene after he went back into her residence. He had gone through her purse and took some groceries from her house. Deputies observed and photographed injuries to her left eye, a large bump over her eye, cuts and bleeding from her left ear, multiple cuts and bruising to the left side of her cheek and jaw, a cut and bruising to her throat, a long cut just below her throat to her chest, a large bruise on top of her right hand, a large bruise and cut on her upper left arm.
