On March 27, 2026, at approximately 4:07pm, law enforcement from the Moorhead Police Department responded to a location on 20th Street in Moorhead, Clay County, Minnesota for an attempt to locate, Dominic Ray Collins [DOB REDACTED], hereafter "Defendant," who had an outstanding Warrant through Clay County. Upon arrival law enforcement made contact with the Defendant and placed him under arrest pursuant to the warrant. After being placed under arrest, law enforcement asked the Defendant if he had anything on his person that would stick, poke or hurt officers as well as if he had any narcotics located on his person.
The Defendant indicated that he did have narcotics on his person. Officer Broer of the Moorhead Police Department searched the Defendant incident to arrest and found a clear plastic bag containing a white crystal like substance in the front right coin pocket of the Defendant's jeans. The substance weighed 1.3 grams and field tested positive for methamphetamine. ### PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: Pursuant to Minn. Stat. 609.49., intentional failure to appear for duly scheduled court appearances may result in additional criminal charges, and in addition to any arrest warrant that may otherwise be issued by the Court.
