On April 9, 2026, at approximately 4:46 A.M., Saint Paul Officers responded to the Holiday Gas Station, [ADDRESS REDACTED], Saint Paul, County of Ramsey, on a call where a male was seen with a handgun in the area of 1345 Marshall. Officers arrived and made contact with a male that matched the suspect description-later identified as PUOL PETER BOTH, [DOB REDACTED]. BOTH was handcuffed and placed in the back of the squad car while officers investigated. When pat searched, BOTH did not have a gun in his possession.
While BOTH was in the back seat of the squad car, he kicked the doors multiple times. Officers determined BOTH was not involved in the weapons call, and released him. BOTH then kicked the front passenger door of Officer Vang’s squad car, causing a dent in the door. BOTH was told he was under arrest. He started to walk away. Officers took BOTH down to the ground and arrested him. While officers tried to search BOTH, he spit at Officer Yang, saliva landing on the left side of his hair and left shoulder.
During the transport to the jail, BOTH said, “That spit is for George Floyd.” At the LEC, BOTH spit at the squad windows and kicked the squad doors. The right rear door of the squad door was not closing properly.
