On January 24, 2026, Moorhead Police Department Officer Oelrich responded to a report of a theft that occurred at 315 2nd Ave. S. In Moorhead, located in Clay County, Minnesota. An individual, A.M. P., reported that WAYLON DALE PORTER [DOB REDACTED], hereinafter the Defendant, stole her medications. A.M. P. Stated that the Defendant came to her apartment, located at the address above, on or about January 23, 2026, and spent the night there. In the morning on or about January 24, 2026, she noticed several of her prescription drugs, including Xanax pills, a schedule IV Controlled substance, and Adderall pills, a schedule II Controlled Substance, as well as a go pro camera, had gone missing.
A.M. P. Reported that she called the Defendant about the incident. During the call, the Defendant stated that he would not give anything back unless 'he got his property from the home'. The value of the medications was estimated to be $230, and the value of the go pro was estimated to be approximately $500. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: Pursuant to Minn.
