On or about April 8, 2025, Eden Prairie Police were dispatched to a report of a Court Order Violation. Police met with a female, “Victim” herein. Victim [NAME REDACTED] is the protected party in an Order for Protection “OFP” (27-DA-FA-24-5880) against JAMAR MAURICE CLAVON [DOB REDACTED] “Defendant” herein. Defendant was personally served with the OFP on October 2, 2024. The OFP says Defendant must not have any contact with the victim [NAME REDACTED], through others, by telephone, mail, e-mail, through electronic devices, social media, or by any other means.
On March 24, 2025, the Defendant was convicted of stalking the victim in Minnesota Cout File No. 27-CR- 24-25509. Defendant was Committed to the Commissioner of Corrections for 48 months. In that case, Defendant sent multiple threatening text messages to the victim, including: “Come outside so I cant torture you” and “You lucky I didn't kill you when I was beating yo ass I saw the fear in your eyes that's why I stopped.” The victim [NAME REDACTED] on April 8, 2025, the victim received a call from St. Cloud Correctional Facility.
The victim said she hung up as soon as she heard Defendant’s name. The same phone number called again, and she declined the call. The victim [NAME REDACTED] at her work in Hennepin County when she received the phone calls. On December 12, 2025, the victim reported to police that the day before Thanksgiving, she received a letter in the mail from Defendant. The Defendant sent his letter from the Minnesota Correctional Facility in Faribault. The letter included a photo of the Defendant with his name on the back of the photo.
The victim recognized the handwriting to be the Defendant’s. The victim [NAME REDACTED] has continued to attempt to call her from prison multiple times. On January 8, 2026, Defendant called her three times. The victim was in Hennepin County when she received the calls. The defendant left two voicemails on January 8, 2026, on the victim’s phone. She recognized the voice to be the Defendant on the calls. In one of the voicemails Defendant says his name, tells her he has court on January 14th, and that he has a post-conviction pending and is waiting to get a sentencing reduction on his case.
After receiving the phone calls the victim [NAME REDACTED], disgusted, and unsafe. She is afraid that the Defendant is calling her to intimidate her, and she believes he is going to try to kill her when he gets out of prison. Defendant has the following domestic convictions that involve the victim: - GMD Domestic Assault (••-CR-••-••••), convicted 05/19/2025. - Stalking, 4x GMD Domestic Abuse No Contact Order Violations (••-CR-••-••••), convicted 03/24/2025. - GMD Domestic Assault (••-CR-••-••••), convicted 12/11/2024. - MSD Domestic Assault (••-CR-••-••••), convicted 08/13/2017. Defendant is currently incarcerated at the Minnesota Correctional Facility in Faribault, Minnesota.
