Ashley Marie Ostrander

On or about November 2, 2011, at approximately 05:17 P.M., Wright County Sheriff's Deputy Krueger was on routine patrol near Highway 12 and Buffalo Ave N in Montrose, Wright County, Minnesota, when she observed a white truck traveling westbound on Highway 12 without headlights on after sunset. Deputy Krueger initiated a traffic stop of the vehicle and identified the driver as Ashley Marie Ostrander, [DOB REDACTED], Defendant herein. Deputy Krueger observed the Defendant had glossy, watery eyes and an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from her mouth.

Deputy Krueger conducted Standardized Field Sobriety Testing and observed multiple signs of impairment Defendant was placed under arrest. Defendant requested that her purse be transported to the jail with her and a pistol was located in Defendant's purse. Defendant does not have a permit to carry. Defendant was transported to the Wright County Jail. After being read the breath test advisory, Defendant provided a breath sample for the DMT breath test that showed a.23 BAC. A review of Defendant's criminal history shows one qualified prior impaired driving conviction from December 22, 2016, in court file ••-CR-••-••••.
