On November 8, 2025, at approximately 11:50 A.M., Officer Marleau and Officer Spaulding were dispatched to Walgreens located at [ADDRESS REDACTED] N. E., in the City of Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, on a report of a theft in progress. An employee of the store reported that a male and female were in the store, filling up a shopping cart full of random stuff. The female left the store, and the male was walking around various aisles. The male approached the doors with a cart full of stuff, then walked out of the store with the cart to a white small truck.
Officers arrived on scene and located the male, later identified as Victor Jerry Massaly, [DOB REDACTED], the defendant herein, loading items into the vehicle. Defendant finished loading the items into the vehicle, closed the door and walked back into the store. Officers went inside the store where defendant insisted that he was going out to the vehicle with the items to grab his money to pay for the items and would return to the store to pay for the items. The store employee put together a receipt for the items taken by defendant which came to a total of $844.81.
