On September 22, 2025, the Bloomington Police Department responded to a report that an employee had stolen company property from Seagate located at [ADDRESS REDACTED] South in Bloomington, Hennepin County, Minnesota on September 17, 2025. The reporting party and security contractor noted that a Seagate employee, Sarorn Swanson [DOB REDACTED], "Defendant" herein, had used a dolly on September 17, 2025 to take numerous items of Seagate property to include a laptop, printer cartridges, miscellaneous office items and other items.
The stolen items amounted to approximately $5,550.34 in property belonging to Seagate. Surveillance video of that location on September 17, 2025 captured Defendant taking the items before loading them into a white Cadillac SUV. The investigator confirmed Defendant had a 2019 white Cadillac Escalade registered to her. Access logs documented Defendant using her access badge to enter the Seagate property at 12:43 A.M. That morning. The Seagate Security Manager reported that Defendant's working hours are daytime hours Monday through Friday.
The Security Manager also noted there is no reason Defendant should have been in Seagate during the overnight hours, and that Defendant had no approval to take items from the property.
