On April 20, 2026, officers responded to [ADDRESS REDACTED] in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota for a domestic assault report involving a weapon. Call notes relayed that the reporting party’s ex-boyfriend had banged on her window, that he had a gun on his waist, and that he was holding the handle of the gun. The reporting party, “Victim” herein, provided a description of the suspect, information about the suspect’s vehicle, and identified him as KERRY WIGGINS, [DOB REDACTED], "Defendant" herein.
Officers arrived at the scene and met with Victim. She explained that she heard a knock on her apartment window, peeked outside, and saw Defendant with a firearm in his waistband. Defendant told Victim, “Come open the door, b****. Come outside, I have something for you,” while holding the firearm. Victim said that she took this as a threat that Defendant would seriously injure or kill her. Victim [NAME REDACTED] incident and ran to a bedroom in her apartment to call 911. On April 22, Defendant called Victim from the Hennepin County Jail.
Wiggins asked Victim why she “lied on me like that?” and told her, “You know I ain’t put my hands on you [Victim.]” Victim asked Defendant twice why he was calling her before hanging up. Before the call disconnected, Defendant stated, “It’s your turn coming, you hear me?”. Defendant is currently in-custody on another matter and a warrant is respectfully being requested.
