On 08/14/2025, a HCSO detective reviewed and received a report of a theft, that had been submitted by Target Field security, that allegedly occurred at Target Field in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota that had allegedly occurred on 07/28/2025. It was reported that a male, later identified as Laurence John Charette, [DOB REDACTED] (“Defendant”) entered one of the stadium’s retail stores and removed three baseball caps valued at $35.00, $40.00, $45.00, and $49.00, for a total loss of $169.00 without paying for the items and without permission to remove the items.

Officers identified Defendant by comparing the video surveillance footage with jail booking photos.
