The video depicted the decedent, “Jadah”, Maddison, later fully identified as Madison Marie Sellers [DOB REDACTED], hereinafter the Defendant, and Maddison’s boyfriend.
Crime Scene Unit Detectives photo documented the scene and located a round light blue pill with the markings of an “M” inside a square on one side and a “30” marked on the other, consistent with counterfeit Fentanyl on the floor near the decedent’s right hip. In the nightstand along the east wall, Detectives located a torn piece of a white plastic bag that contained several more of the same blue pills. Also, in the nightstand CSU detectives located a Newport pack of cigarettes containing $80.00 in $20.00 denominations, a lighter, the decedent’s Minnesota Identification card, and a Visa Debit card.
A laboratory analysis later determined that the round blue pills found by law enforcement were counterfeit Fentanyl pills.
