On April 11, 2025, at approximately 4:24 P.M., law enforcement was dispatched to a report about a domestic assault in progress at a residence located on the 200 block of Oak Grove Street, City of Minneapolis, County of Hennepin, State of Minnesota. Upon arrival, law enforcement approached the residence and observed the door was severely damaged. The doorknob was completely ripped off the door and on the floor. Law enforcement met with a female, Victim herein, who reported experiencing three days of domestic altercations with her ex-boyfriend, WILLIE CAGE, JR. [DOB REDACTED] (AKA Willie Junior Cage [DOB REDACTED] and Willie Cage (06-09- 1999)), Defendant herein.
Victim [NAME REDACTED] in her sister’s room when she heard loud knocking. Victim [NAME REDACTED] was Defendant and that he was kicking the door. At some point, Defendant kicked the door open and forced his way into the residence. Victim reported that Defendant walked passed her, grabbed her car keys, and did not do anything to her. However, Victim [NAME REDACTED] was afraid of Defendant. Victim further reported that Defendant grabbed her phone and purse. Law enforcement learned that the residence belonged to Victim’s sister.
Defendant has two (2) prior qualified domestic violence related adjudications of delinquency within the past ten (10) years that resulted from the same case: 1. ••-CR-••-••••: Assault-5th Deg-Inflict or Attempt Bodily Harm – Conviction Date: 03-23-2016. 2. ••-CR-••-••••: Assault-5th Deg-Inflict or Attempt Bodily Harm – Conviction Date: 03-23-2016. Defendant is not in custody.
