Treyvon Lewis Riser

On April 6, 2026, Brooklyn Center police assisted a nearby agency related to a vehicle fleeing police. The vehicle was a later confirmed stolen vehicle out of Brooklyn Center, Hennepin County, Minnesota. The vehicle was stolen sometime around March 31, 2026. Later that day on April 6, 2026, the vehicle, a 2008 GMC Acadia with Minnesota license plates ETM420 was located in Robbinsdale, Hennepin County, Minnesota. The car was stopped and the driver was arrested and identified as TREYVON LEWIS RISER [DOB REDACTED], Defendant herein.

In a post-Miranda statement, Defendant confirmed he was the person who stole the vehicle and knew he didn't have permission to take or drive the vehicle. Defendant is currently in custody at the Hennepin County Jail on unrelated offenses. Therefore, the State requests a warrant issue for Defendant.
