On November 6, 2025, law enforcement was dispatched to a residence in the City of St. Cloud, County of Stearns, State of Minnesota, for a report of an assault. J. M. H., fully identified in police reports, called in to report M. J. H., fully identified in police reports, was in a physical altercation with his girlfriend. J. M. H. Reported M. J. H.'s girlfriend choked him and there were marks on M. J. H.'s neck. Law enforcement met with M. J. H. Who reported Elizabeth Rose Krause, [DOB REDACTED], defendant herein, picked him up from work in his truck.
M. J. H. Told defendant he wanted to break up with her, which made defendant upset. Defendant was yelling at M. J. H. About not wanting to break up. Defendant stopped the car. Defendant attempted to choke M. J. H. Multiple times. The first time she placed one hand on his neck. The second time she placed both hands around M. J. H.'s neck. M. J. H. Threw defendant's bag in the back of the truck. Defendant climbed into the back seat. Defendant told M. J. H. He never listens and that she was going to jump into traffic.
Defendant grabbed M. J. H.'s watch and threw it out of the window of the truck. Defendant then got out of the truck and started throwing pieces of a table that was in the truck into the roadway. Defendant grabbed M. J. H.'s watch and threw it on the ground. Defendant then walked away. M. J. H. Drove the truck back to the residence. Defendant walked to the residence and entered the house through the back door. Defendant continued to scream at M. J. H. And threw a water bottle at him. The water bottle struck a wooden cabinet which caused the wood to splinter.
Defendant then was trying to go into the basement, which M. J. H. Did not want her to because he was afraid she would damage his property. Defendant again placed a hand around M. J. H.'s throat. M. J. H. Stated defendant was scratching at his neck and believes that is when she got him above the eye. Defendant also ripped M. J. H.'s sweatshirt down the center. Defendant also attempted to kick M. J. H.'s in the testicles. Law enforcement observed a scratch on M. J. H.'s neck and above his eye. At one point defendant placed a plastic bag over her head trying to suffocate herself.
M. J. H. Ripped the bag so she could not suffocate herself. In a Mirandized statement defendant stated she picked M. J. H. Up from work. M. J. H. Was not responding to her which made her upset. Defendant admitted it got physical. Defendant and M. J. H are family or household members. Defendant was previously convicted on 04/04/2024 of Misdemeanor Fifth Degree Assault in Benton County District Court File No. ••-CR-••-••••, and convicted on 03/28/2024 of Misdemeanor Fifth Degree Assault in Stearns County District Court File No. ••-CR-••-••••. Complainant has reason to believe and does believe that all of the above information is true and correct.
