That on December 31, 2025, at approximately 2240 hours, Officers Bryce and Toscano of the Minneapolis police department were on routine patrol in the area of 6th Street South and 19th Avenue South when they observed a vehicle (MN LHM965) traveling eastbound on 6th Street without any lights on. Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of 6th Street South and 20th Avenue South in the City of Minneapolis, County of Hennepin, State of Minnesota. The officers approached the vehicle and spoke to the driver who was identified as TERRANCE ONEAL [DOB REDACTED], Defendant herein.
Officer Toscano returned to the squad vehicle to run checks while Officer Bryce stayed and explained the reason for the stop and asked Defendant to turn the vehicle’s lights on, which he did. As Defendant exited the vehicle, he pointed to the driver’s side door and said, “that’s my gun, too.” Officer Bryce returned to the vehicle to secure and inventory the firearm, which contained a live round and a loaded magazine.
