Probable Cause

On October 27, 2025 at 1217 hours, Stillwater Police Officer Carey was on patrol at Myrtle and Owens in Stillwater, Washington County when he observed a vehicle with a driver he recognized as Nathan William Stephens Thorn, [DOB REDACTED], “Suspect.” Officer Carey ran the Suspect’s information and confirmed the Suspect had a license that was revoked and he was driving his grandmother’s vehicle. Officer Carey stopped the vehicle. The Suspect provided a paper copy of his ID and confirmed that he had a license that was revoked and that he had a requirement to have an ignition interlock installed on any vehicle that he operates.

The Suspect stated he did not have ignition interlock installed on the vehicle he was operating.
