In March and April 2025, law enforcement personnel were investigating Defendant ANDREW JENS KNUDSEN, born on [DOB REDACTED], for conduct that occurred in Goodhue County and Olmsted County. As part of that investigation, law enforcement arrested Defendant at his workplace on March 24, 2025, in Richfield, Hennepin County, Minnesota. During that arrest, officers seized Defendant’s cell phone. In addition, officers executed a search warrant at Defendant’s residence on April 3, 2025, in Bloomington, Hennepin County, Minnesota, during which they seized additional items.
Across Defendant’s devices, law enforcement located 166 files containing Child Sexual Abuse Material (“CSAM”). They also located 73 files in which it could not be determined whether the involved persons were under age 18. Some of the CSAM depicted the face of a known minor female (“Victim”). On an iPhone seized from Defendant’s person during his arrest on March 24, 2025, law enforcement located the following CSAM files 1. A. Description: An image depicting a prepubescent female’s naked body from the waist up.
Victim’s head is placed on the female body. Defendant is lying on his back and propped up on his elbow looking at the camera with a smile. The image appears to have an attached erect penis to Defendant’s body, while the female is naked and holding the erect penis while her mouth touches the penis on Defendant’s body. This corresponds with Count I. 2. A. Description: An image depicting Defendant while naked and standing looking forward. Victim [NAME REDACTED] on her knees with a male’s penis by her mouth while leaning back a little with her left hand leaning on something and her right hand across her body.
On an Apple computer located in a backpack under Defendant’s bed that officers seized during the April 3, 2025, search warrant execution, law enforcement located the following CSAM files: 1. A. Description: An image depicting a prepubescent female who is completely nude with her vagina and breasts exposed. The female is lying on her back while an adult male is standing in front of her with his erect penis partially inside her vagina. The female is holding her left nipple with her left hand. The female appears to be under age 14. This corresponds with Count II. 2. A. Description: An image depicting a prepubescent female who appears to be completely nude with her breasts exposed.
The female is straddling an adult male while holding his erect penis in her right hand. The female also has part of the adult male’s penis in her mouth. The female appears to be under age 14. This corresponds with Count III. 3. A. Description: An image depicting a prepubescent female who is with an adult male. The adult male appears to be seated with his pants opened, exposing his erect penis. The female is holding the adult male’s penis with her right hand and has the penis in her mouth.
