On April 6, 2026, law enforcement officers were dispatched to a residence in Corcoran, Hennepin County, Minnesota to respond to a mental health related incident. Upon arrival, officers made contact with SANDI ILSE GREEN [DOB REDACTED], who was speaking loudly to herself in her room. An officer began to speak to her, and she was speaking non-sensical and talking about reports she made to the IRS, crimes she did not report, and altercations with her boyfriend, identified as J. C. An officer observed blood splattered on GREEN’S sweater.
An officer then spoke to another individual at the house, R. G. She stated J. C. Had come over, something happened to GREEN, and she has been like this since. It was decided that GREEN would go to the hospital. Officers then learned that J. C. Was enroute to the hospital after being stabbed by GREEN. An officer made contact with J. C., who reported he went over to GREEN’S residence and while there, she got mad at him. She punched him in the eye before pulling out an approximately six-inch-long pocketknife and swiped it towards J. C. But missed.
J. C. Went to leave and GREEN followed him and yelled things that did not make sense. GREEN then attempted to stab J. C. In the chest before stabbing the gas tank of J. C.’s motorcycle and then stabbing him in the wrist. The knife penetrated his wrist, causing an approximately one-inch-long laceration that required medical intervention. A knife consistent with what J. C. Described was located in plain view on GREEN’S dresser. There appeared to be dried blood on the blade. GREEN is currently in custody in the Hennepin County Jail.
