On December 25, 2025, law enforcement officers were dispatched to a residence in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota on a report of threats made with a firearm. The caller, identified as S. M., reported her children’s father was at her door with a firearm and threatening to break into her house. Her children’s father was identified as RICHARD DEMARK KING [DOB REDACTED]. S. M. Reported she and KING had been arguing over the last couple of days. She told KING to stay away from her. On this day, KING showed up at her residence uninvited and began banging on the door.
S. M.’s mother was also at the house and identified as W. M. She went to the door and could see KING with a firearm in his hand. While holding the firearm, KING stated, “do I have to break into this house now?” KING then got into his vehicle and drove off. Both S. M. And W. M. Were concerned for their safety given KING’S threats and conduct. KING was located and placed under arrest. KING is currently in-custody in the Hennepin County Jail.
