That on or about October 7, 2025, Officer Monaghan with the St. Louis Park Police Department received a past action theft report originating from Old Navy, located at 8308 Hwy. 7, in the City of St. Louis Park, County of Hennepin, State of Minnesota. Loss Prevention informed Officer Monaghan that on or about September 30, 2025, an unidentified male theft suspect entered Old Navy. The male suspect selected and concealed 22 items of merchandise, bypassed all points of sale without making a purchase, and exited the store.
The unidentified male theft suspect is known as a shoplifter at Old Navy stores throughout the metro. On August 29, 2025, the male theft suspect was positively identified as JEREMY JAMES HARRIS, JR. (“Defendant” herein), in Roseville PD Case #RV25027324. Officer Monaghan received surveillance footage and a loss prevention report for review. After reviewing the material, Officer Monaghan confirmed the allegations against Defendant. Officer Monaghan and Investigator Swanson with the St. Louis Park Police Department believed Defendant, who was captured on surveillance footage matched the theft suspect in Roseville PD Case #RV25027324. For identification purposes, it should also be noted Defendant has a prior theft conviction out of St. Louis Park in court file number ••-CR-••-•••• and a prior DWI conviction out of St. Louis Park in court file number 27-CR-24- 22210. In total, Defendant stole $336.08 worth of merchandise, which was not recovered.
At present, Defendant is not in custody.
