On or about February 17, 2026, at approximately 10:14 A.M., J. L. C. Victim herein, reported their car, a 2014 Buick Encore, stolen after they went into Walgreens located at 12 66th Street West in Richfield, Hennepin County, Minnesota. Victim [NAME REDACTED] in the center console. Later that day at approximately 2:20 P.M., the vehicle was found near 19th Street and Clinton Avenue in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota. At that time, LEBIN ABDI DIRIE [DOB REDACTED], Defendant herein, was driving the vehicle wearing a blue puffy style jacket.

Defendant at the time of her arrest provided a false name to police of her sister, Y. D., with a date of birth of 6/10/1997. In a post-Miranda statement, Defendant stated she got the car from a person. However, surveillance obtained around the time of the theft shows a person perfectly matching Defendant's description and clothing get into Victim's vehicle and steal it. Defendant was wearing the same clothes when arrested in Minneapolis. Defendant is currently in custody at the Hennepin County Jail.

Defendant committed this offense while pending charges on another felony in Hennepin County in 27-CR-25-26175.
