On or about February 27, 2026, Shaykeya Mari-Joyce Marquez, [DOB REDACTED], hereinafter referred to as Defendant, came into the custody of the Scott County Jail, Shakopee, Scott County, Minnesota. Pursuant to being processed at the jail, it was determined that Defendant had an active warrant from the State of North Dakota. Information from the Cass County Sheriff’s Office was obtained indicating that Defendant had an outstanding warrant as of January 8, 2026 for Violating Probation. The warrant was issued by District Court Judge Constance L. Cleveland.
The State of North Dakota, County of Cass has indicated that it will extradite the Defendant on the charges. Through communication with the Cass County Sheriff’s Office as determined by name, date of birth and other identifying factors the individual in custody is in fact the same individual wanted by the State of North Dakota. The facts above constitute the Complainant’s basis for believing that the above named Defendant in the above named county was and is a Fugitive from Justice. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: Pursuant to Minn.
