On or about 10/22/2025, officers with the Brooklyn Center Police Department received information that Dominique Darnell Curry, [DOB REDACTED], Defendant herein, was noncompliant in his registration as a sex offender. The Defendant was registered at an address located on the 6600 block of Humboldt Ave N in Brooklyn Center, Hennepin County, Minnesota. The Defendant is required to register and provide timely updates anytime he moves to a new address. The Defendant last registered at this address on December 2, 2024. The Defendant was required to register next on October 13, 2025. A letter sent to that address from the BCA requesting the registration was returned to the BCA undeliverable.
The police spoke to the building manager who stated that a female renter with the same last name as the Defendant had moved out of the address about a month prior and did not leave a forwarding address. The Defendant is required to register as a predatory offender due to a conviction for Terroristic Threats in 2010 in court file, ••-CR-••-••••. This case was originally charged as false imprisonment, a registerable offense, and the Defendant plead to Terroristic Threats. The Defendant is out of custody and his whereabouts are unknown.
The State requests a warrant issue with this complaint as the Defendant is out of compliance with Court orders to register.
