The family reported being out of the home for nearly four hours. When they returned home, the house, a glass entry door had been broken, the home appeared to be ransacked, and items were missing. The items missing included jewelry, cash, and sporting medals/awards. The value of the property taken exceeded $1,000. A neighbor reported seeing two suspicious males near the property. No useable video footage was obtained. Officers took several swabs of items for DNA testing and seized some items for fingerprint and DNA testing.
Some small jewelry boxes from Victim 1’s bedroom were taken as evidence for testing. Victim 1 reported the boxes had been kept in her closet, and held her lettering pins from High School. The pins had been taken in the burglary. A CODIS hit on DNA testing from the jewelry boxes came back to Fabio Andres Cuervo Cardenas, [DOB REDACTED]. On 12/18/2025, Cuervo Cardenas was arrested in Orange County, California, on a Burglary case. He is being held in ICE custody. A warrant is sought for his arrest.
