On January 15, 2026, officers executed a warrant at the residence of MICHAEL LEE TILLMAN [DOB REDACTED] at [ADDRESS REDACTED] East, Maplewood, Ramsey County. Tillman was being investigated for his role in a drive-by shooting. Officers recovered bag of miscellaneous ammunition, multiple drum magazines, a box of 10mm ammunition, and two AR rifles from the residence: one Anderson Manufacturing AM-15 and an EP Armory. An investigator spoke to Tillman’s girlfriend. When asked about the two AR-style rifles found in the basement storage area, she said Tillman spends most of his time in the basement, and she doesn’t check his space.

Tillman has prior felony convictions for aggravated robbery in the first degree and threats of violence that make him ineligible to possess firearms or ammunition. Tillman is currently in custody in Ramsey County.
