Davina Denise Roundtree

That on or about June 17, 2025, Brooklyn Park Police responded to a two-vehicle accident at 83rd Parkway and Zane Avenue N, in the city of Brooklyn Park, Hennepin County. Officers arrived and met with one of the parties involved in the accident, who indicated the suspect vehicle was northbound on Zane Avenue, but traveling in the southbound lane before causing the accident. This was confirmed by several witnesses, who provided a description of the suspect vehicle and the direction of travel. Officers located the suspect vehicle, which bore Minnesota license number LRA-692 and was driven by DAVINA DENISE ROUNDTREE, Defendant herein.

Defendant has talking non-sense, had pin-point pupils and had difficulty staying awake. Officer Lazenberry, a drug-recognition evaluator, arrived on the scene and noted Defendant's tongue was tinted green. Officer Lazeberry opined that Defendant was under the influence of a controlled substance. A search warrant was obtained for a sample of Defendant's blood or urine. Defendant did provide a blood sample, which was later analyzed by the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and revealed the presence of the following controlled substances: fentanyl and norfentanyl (both Schedule II). Defendant has two prior drug/alcohol-related [DL# REDACTED]--July 20, 2024 and May 7, 2025. Defendant was unable to provide proof of insurance.
