On or about 12/04/2025, at approximately 0022 hours, Officers responded to [ADDRESS REDACTED] Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota. Upon arrival, Officers made contact with the victim [NAME REDACTED]. Officers immediately observed the victim to have a severe deep laceration on her right eyebrow that was oozing blood and had swollen to the size of a golf ball. Additionally, the victim appeared to have purple bruising on her left eye/cheek that caused her left eye to be swollen completely shut. The victim told Officers that Nuradin Mose Mohamed (DOB: ([DOB REDACTED]), defendant hereinafter, were driving together when she asked the defendant to give her directions.
The victim indicated that the defendant got angry and loud saying she had an attitude. Once they arrived at their destination, the defendant was seated in the back seat behind the front passenger seat of the vehicle while the victim [NAME REDACTED]. Shortly after, the victim [NAME REDACTED], when the defendant punched her on the side of the face/head with his fist. The victim turned her body around and kicked the defendant. The defendant then leaned forward into the driver seat area and began to repeatedly punch the victim in the face and strangled.
The victim [NAME REDACTED] was unable to breathe. The defendant then exited the vehicle and proceeded to the driver’s door, which he then pulled the victim out of the vehicle and forced her to the ground. The defendant then began to punch her in the face repeatedly while she was on the ground. The victim indicated the defendant stopped assaulting her once he heard the police sirens nearby. The victim was transported to the hospital to be treated for the injuries. Officers asked the defendant why he did not walk away, to which he responded, "I could have, but when she hit me, I was not going to allow her to hit me.
After she hit me, I was like, boom, and just started to punch her back." The defendant was placed under arrest and transported to Hennepin County Adult Detention Center. The defendant is in custody.
