At approximately 7:14 AM on 11/03/2025, Officers executed a warrant at a residence in Richfield, Hennepin County, Minnesota. The residence is leased by Hannah Ludmila Chance, herein Defendant 1. Officer 1 knocked on the door several times, instructing the occupants to come to the door. After no answer, Officer 1 unlocked the deadbolt and felt someone on the other side of the door trying to lock it. Multiple officers then kicked the front door open. Officer 1 observed Javon Isaiah Vrieze, herein Defendant 2, standing near the door holding a gray safe in his hands.
The gray safe contained 12.40 grams of field- tested positive fentanyl that was wrapped in a plastic sandwich baggie and $705 in U. S. Currency. Defendant 1 was located hiding behind the entry door. Defendant 1 is the subject of prior complaints that she is selling drugs out of the residence. Officers recovered the following on the nightstand in the bedroom: 1. 2.08 grams of field-tested positive fentanyl located in a tear-off style bag. 2. A digital scale with field-tested positive fentanyl residue on it and tinfoil. 3. A “sales log” notebook Officers recovered another “sales log” on a side table in the living room.
It detailed different names, weights, prices, and dates. It contained a log of “personal use” with either a J, H, or both letters next to a weight. The notebook was located on a side table in the living room. Defendant is currently out of custody.
