The Complainant having reviewed the applicable reports believes the following facts to be true: On November 5, 2025, officers with the St. Paul Police Reports were dispatched to a residence on Margaret Street in the City of St. Paul, County of Ramsey, State of Minnesota for a reported domestic assault. Upon arrival, they spoke with K. B.-C., fully identified in the police reports. K. B.-C. Indicated that his mother, Kartumu Sonia King, [DOB REDACTED], the defendant herein, punched him and hit him with a black metal bar.
Officers detained the defendant before obtaining a full statement from K. B.-C. K. B.-C. Reported that he and the defendant got into an argument last week after he was caught smoking marijuana. The defendant took away his keys to the residence. On November 5, he got into the home through a window. The defendant wanted to speak with him. K. B.-C. Could not remember what exactly they were discussing, but he said something that made the defendant upset. The defendant walked up to K. B.- C. And began hitting him with open hands and fists.
K. B.-C. Indicated he was not afraid of the defendant and she responded by picking up a nearby metal pipe. She hit K. B.-C. In the face and shin with the pipe. K. B.-C. Tried to get the pipe away from the defendant and they fought over it. The defendant only stopped when K. B.-C. Called police. Officers observed a red mark on K. B.-C. Left shin.
