On October 27, 2025, Minnetonka Police Officers responded to a theft from vehicle report at The Luxe Apartments, [ADDRESS REDACTED], Minnetonka, Hennepin County. The reporting party, B. S., stated that she parked her vehicle in her apartment's underground garage on October 24, 2025, around 11:00 P.M., When she returned to her vehicle on October 25, 2025, around 11:00 A.M., she discovered that the vehicle had been ransacked. B. S. Is missing 3 pairs of Gucci sunglasses, 3 pairs of Prada sunglasses, 1 pair of Ray Ban sunglasses, 1 pair of Long Champ sunglasses and an empty Lululemon bag.
The estimated total loss is $3500.00. B. S. Also stated that there was no visible damage to her vehicle but since finding it ransacked her locks are not working properly. In a review of surveillance, a male and female are observed being let into the apartment. The female, later identified as AMINA HASSAN ROOBLE, Defendant herein, used a debit card to forcibly enter into the underground garage. The suspects then left the apartment complex in a 2020 Subaru Outback with Minnesota license plate [PLATE REDACTED] on October 25, 2025, around 6:44 A.M. On November 20, 2025, the Subaru was involved in a theft in Apple Valley.
The vehicle was reported stolen and the LBN184 plates did not belong to the vehicle. The suspect arrested in that incident was the Defendant. Apple Valley police officers that made contact with the Defendant in that incident confirmed that the Defendant was the female in the Luxe Apartments surveillance video. The Defendant is currently out of custody.
