All of the conduct described herein occurred within the County of St. Louis, State of Minnesota, unless otherwise noted. On November 4, 2025, at approximately 2:55 A.M., officer s of the Duluth Police Department were dispatched to a weapons call in the area of Graysolon Plaza, [ADDRESS REDACTED], in Duluth, St. Louis County, Minnesota. Officers learned that a man later identified as MARCAL MILES LONG, [DOB REDACTED], hereinafter referred to as the Defendant, may have held someone up by gun point.
The Defendant was described as being on bike wearing a blue jacket and a white hat. Officers were quickly in the area and went behind the casino under the parking ramp and found a man matching the description of the clothing and on a bike. The Defendant initially left the area and didn’t stop for officers. Officers followed the Defendant and stopped him at the intersection of North First Avenue East and East First Street. The Defendant made statements that the gun was fake, pulled out a black handgun that he dropped down to the ground.
The Defendant was safely taken into custody. The suspected firearm was later identified as a BB gun. The Defendant does not have a permit to carry. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: Pursuant to Minn. Stat. 609.49, intentional failure to appear for duly scheduled court appearances may result in additional criminal charges, and in addition to any arrest warrant that may otherwise be issued by the Court.
