On October 24, 2025, St. Paul Police received a report about the unauthorized dissemination of sexual content. Police spoke with the complainant, NSR, who reported that she was in a complicated relationship with AIDAN CARLOS JOHNSON – [DOB REDACTED]. During their relationship, they were intimate and consented to recording sex acts with each other. That day, NSR discovered that a video they recorded was posted to X (formerly Twitter) without her permission. The video depicted NSR performing oral sex on JOHNSON and her face is visible in the video.
NSR told police that she believed JOHNSON posted the video because she ended the relationship. Both NSR and JOHNSON reside in St. Paul, Ramsey County, Minnesota. In a follow-up statement with the investigator, NSR confirmed that she was casually seeing JOHNSON, and they had a sexual relationship. NSR also confirmed that they consensually recorded sex acts between them, but they agreed that it would not be posted or shared with anyone else. NSR said her friend contacted her and told her that JOHNSON posted a personal video of her on his X account.
NSR reported that she sent JOHNSON a message about posting the video but did not get a response. NSR said the video had been taken down from X. On December 11, 2025, the investigator spoke with JOHNSON over the phone. When asked if he would be willing to speak with the investigator in person regarding the video he posted on X, Johnson responded, “Do we have to? I deleted it all.” JOHNSON said he would prefer to talk by phone. The investigator asked JOHNSON to tell her what happened and why he posted the video.
JOHNSON stated, “So like, I was hanging out with a girl and we were being stupid and I decided on her phone, recorded her like going down on me. And then she sent it to me like a few days later and I was being goofy, I guess. So I posted it on my Twitter, which I don’t know anybody like personally saw on my Twitter, like in person or from Minnesota at least sort of. But I think one of her friends saw somehow because I think I add one of them on Twitter, and then she messaged me to take it down and then I took it down.” JOHNSON confirmed that the female he was seeing and recorded is NSR, and he said the video was something they agreed to film together.
JOHNSON also confirmed that NSR had no idea he was going to post the video on any website. When asked why he posted the video, JOHNSON responded, “Because my account was all like sexual stuff. So I thought it was cool that I was with a girl right then.” JOHNSON confirmed that his Twitter username is the account that posted the video of NSR and that no one else had access to it. JOHNSON admitted that you could see NSR’s face in the video. JOHNSON reported that he took the video down when he received a message from NSR stating that she would get the police involved if he did not take it down, and JOHNSON said he took it down because he did not want to upset her anymore.
