Officers learned that a white male, approximately 30-40 years old, wearing a black and red jacket, blue hoodie, black pants, and a red billed hat, entered the store, selected Magic: the Gathering Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Bundle trading cards, then left the store without attempting to pay for the merchandise. The suspect also took the target basket. The total value of all items taken, including the basket was determined to be $599.87. Officers later located the suspect and identified him as CHRISTOPHER KEVIN BURG [DOB REDACTED]. In a post Miranda interview, BURG acknowledged taking merchandise without paying for it.

Officers located some merchandise on BURG's person. BURG has a prior conviction for Second Degree Burglary on April 22, 2022 (27-CR-21-20943).
