On March 20, 2026, Maple Grove Police Department Officer(s) were on patrol in the parking lot area of Burlington located at [ADDRESS REDACTED], in Maple Grove, Hennepin County, Minnesota, when they observed a woman who appeared to be passed out or slumped in a vehicle. The woman was the sole occupant of the vehicle. Officer(s) initiated their emergency vehicle lights and had the woman, later identified as Alexandra Nicole Evelius [DOB REDACTED], "Defendant" herein, exit the vehicle. Officer(s) also observed paraphernalia in the vehicle.
In searching the vehicle, officer(s) located a green camouflage bag on the front passenger seat of the vehicle. Inside the bag was a clear plastic baggie containing a white rock like substance. Defendant admitted the bag was hers. The white rock-like substance that was recovered field tested positive for fentanyl and weighed approximately 0.39 gram without packaging. Defendant is currently in custody.
