On 11/18/2025 at 2143 hours, a Ramsey County Deputy spotted a stolen 2005 Honda Accord (MN/ZDS371) at 6th St from Mounds Blvd in Saint Paul, Ramsey County. The driver was later identified as Jamie John ROBINSON ([DOB REDACTED]). An unknown passenger exited the vehicle and ROBINSON then drove away. The Deputy followed as ROBINSON drove to 435 Griffith where the Deputy initiated a traffic stop. When ROBINSON exited the vehicle, he immediately said "if the vehicle is stolen, I will take you to his house who sold me it". ROBINSON then said he bought the vehicle from a guy named Ken KENICK for $300 and that KENICK had done similar things in the past.
ROBINSON said KENICK came to his house on 11/17/2025, asked him if he wanted to buy the vehicle for $300, and gave ROBINSON the key. ROBINSON was unable to describe KENICK and said he did not know KENICK’s phone number. When police checked and found no one named Ken KENICK with a MN Driver’s License, ROBINSON said KENICK did not have an ID. But, said ROBINSON, the vehicle’s actual owner would probably know KENICK because KENICK once took her van and drove it to the casino. The Deputy contacted the vehicle’s owner, CM, who said she left her Honda running in her garage at about 1500 hours on 11/16/2025 and someone stole it.
She said she did not know a Ken KENICK and had not owned a van in almost 20 years.
