The following is based on your complainant’s review of the reports of other officers and your complainant’s own investigation: As of November 1, 2025, multiple warrants were outstanding for the arrest of the defendant, DYNELL DEANGELO RANDLE ([DOB REDACTED]). On that date, at about 5:15am, St. Paul Police responded to a home on Rice St., St. Paul, Ramsey County on a report from a neighbor that two people appeared to be burglarizing it. On arrival, officers spoke briefly with a woman in front of the home, then heard glass breaking in the back.
They then saw a man running away. They pursued and eventually caught up to the man, though he resisted arrest. He refused to identify himself but was eventually identified as the defendant. He was taken into custody. In a search of the defendant incident to the arrest, officers found in his pocket a live round of.22-caliber ammunition, as well as two baggies containing suspected narcotics. They were recovered. The two baggies tested positive for the presence of methamphetamine, with a total net weight of more than a gram.
The defendant and the woman with whom officers spoke briefly at the scene were identified as former tenants who had been evicted from the home several days prior. The defendant declined to make a statement. The defendant's criminal record includes 2023 felony convictions for Domestic Assault and Violation of Controlled Substance Laws in the Fifth Degree, each a “crime of violence” which prohibits him from possessing ammunition or a firearm. (The Domestic Assault conviction was later deemed a gross misdemeanor.) He faces pending felony charges for Check Forgery.
