KESEAN LEON-MACK ANDERSON, [DOB REDACTED], has the following prior convictions for possession of a BB gun in public. 62-CR-25-2484, Carry BB Gun in Public, gross misdemeanor conviction, 6/24/2025 62-CR-24-3695, Carry BB Gun in Public, gross misdemeanor conviction 10/4/2024 On April 14, 2026, at approximately 1:39 A.M., Metro Transit Officers responded to a call involving a male with a gun on a Metro Bus in the area of Selby Avenue and Victoria, Saint Paul, County of Ramsey. Information received also included a bus operator struck an individual on the bus.
Officers saw a male who matched the description of the male with the gun in the area of Lexington & Selby platform. ANDERSON was arrested. During a search of ANDERSON, Officer Seals found a black BB gun in his right pants pocket. The BB gun is a Umarex replica of a Glock 45,.177 BB caliber. A silver metal knuckle was also found on ANDERSON. ANDERSON had a gross misdemeanor warrant in court file 62-CR-25-2484. STM said he got on the bus at Marshall Avenue & Otis Avenue and placed his e-bike on the front bicycle rack.
At Selby and Victoria, he saw that his e-bike was stolen from the rack. He confronted the bus driver (SB). During the argument, he put one of his arms out toward SB’s chest. SB punched him in the throat, cheek, and temple area. SB then threw his belongings out of the bus. STM walked outside toward the front bicycle rack. SB started driving forward. The bicycle rack struck his left knee. STM said when he boarded the bus, ANDERSON was on the bus threatening SB with brass knuckles. Other passengers told ANDERSON to stop.
ANDERSON showed the gun handle. STM believed the gun was real so he moved to the back of the bus. Other passengers tried to convince ANDERSON to get off of the bus. ANDERSON finally exited the bus. It was at that point that he noticed his bicycle was stolen. The bus operator, SB, said STM confronted him and said he allowed someone to steal his bicycle from the bicycle rack on the bus. STM refused to take a seat and called him a “s***** bus driver.” SB got up from the driver’s seat and told STM to leave.
STM used his hand to push him in the chest area. SB punched STM twice in the face, knocking him to the ground. An investigator reviewed video and observed ANDERSON at the front of the bus yelling at another male, including asking him, “Want to suck my dick, b****!” ANDERSON exited the bus, but entered again, and yelled at the same male for “snitching” on him. Another male confronted ANDERSON and told him to get off of the bus. ANDERSON responds by pulling the BB gun partially from his right pocket and grasping the grip.
The first male fled to the rear of the bus.
