On October 8, 2025, officers of the Richfield Police Department received a report from VICTIM [NAME REDACTED] that she was receiving threatening and harassing text messages from a known person identified as TABITHA LATRICE MCKINLEY [DOB REDACTED], DEFENDANT herein. According to VICTIM, DEFENDANT had a relationship with VICTIM’s boyfriend in the past, and was now harassing her by sending messages over several days that were threatening in nature to include the following: “don’t play innocent cuz ill turn my anger on u too.
Cuz idgaf if you die and him”; “Jordan [VICTIM’s child] can be an orphan just like yo ass”; “just don’t run when I pull up”; “Ill have the nigga run up on u right now”; and “im gon kill ur sons father is that crystal clear…I AM THE JUDGE JURY AND EXECUTIONER ON THIS MATTER B****.” VICTIM provided officers with screenshots of the above messages. VICTIM explained to officers that the content, language, and persistence of the text messages made her fear that the DEFENDANT would follow through on the threats to harm her, her child, and her child’s father.
Officers executed a search warrant to determine the registered owner of the phone number the messages originate from and determine they had come from DEFENDANT’s Google account. DEFENDANT admitted she is the owner of the subject phone number and stated that she did not mean to send the messages but was merely upset. DEFENDANT then explained that the messages were in fact intended for VICTIM’s boyfriend. DEFENDANT is not presently in custody.
