On 06/12/2026, Investigator Personius responded to a report of a sexual assault that had occurred four days earlier on 06/08/2026 at a residence located on Pineview Drive in Brainerd, Crow Wing County. The victim (fully identified in police reports) of the assault was as Essentia Health St. Joseph's emergency room. Investigator met with victim [NAME REDACTED] had met Zachary Scott Krupke, [DOB REDACTED] on 6/8/2026 after Krupke friended her on Snapchat. Victim went to Krupke's house on Pine View Drive to talk outside.
Victim reported that when she arrived at his residence he told her to go inside. Victim went inside and upstairs as directed by Krupke. Once upstairs victim and Krupke talked and eventually Krupke showed victim [NAME REDACTED]. Krupke had victim go into his room and when she did Krupke shut and locked the door. Krupke then forced victim [NAME REDACTED], began to kiss her and pulled down victim's pants. Victim [NAME REDACTED] in per pant's pocket which fell out. Victim told Krupke no but Krupke continued.
Krupke pushed victim [NAME REDACTED] had penile/vaginal sex with victim. During the sexual intercourse, Krupke made victim get on top of him and prevented from leaving by pulling onto her thighs. Victim [NAME REDACTED] onto her stomach at the edge of bed and Krupke had sexual intercourse with her. While she was pinned to bed, Krupke told victim to open her eyes and look towards a mirror so she could watch him have sex with her. During the sexual assault, victim [NAME REDACTED]. Victim was scared that if she was killed her two small children would not know what happened to their mother.
At the end, victim [NAME REDACTED]. Victim [NAME REDACTED] from suspect short time later looking for naked photos. Victim told Krupke no which then Krupke blocked victim [NAME REDACTED]. Victim [NAME REDACTED] on day of assault along with all week. Victim [NAME REDACTED] on her chest, hips, and groin. Victim [NAME REDACTED] on chest and hips. Victim also stated for the week she could not sleep and was having flashbacks of the assault. Investigator went to Krupke's house and executed search warrant.
Krupke spoke to Investigator who stated victim [NAME REDACTED]. When victim [NAME REDACTED], she grabbed his "junk" and began to kiss him. Krupke said sex was consensual. Krupke said bedroom door was open while victim [NAME REDACTED]. Investigator confirmed bedroom door had a working lock. Krupke has four prior domestic violence related convictions. On May 14, 2024, Krupke was convicted of felony Harassment in court file ••-CR-23-•••• and gross misdemeanor assault in file ••-CR-24-•••; on May 25, 2021, Krupke was convicted of violating an Order for Protection in file ••-CR-21-••• and on February 12, 2018, Krupke was convicted of misdemeanor domestic assault in file ••-CR-17-••••.
