That on or about December 12, 2025 at approximately 1:07 P.M., St. Louis Park police officers were dispatched to Cub Foods Knollwood located at [ADDRESS REDACTED] South in St. Louis Park, Hennepin County, Minnesota for a shoplifter that had initially stopped, but had since left the store, leaving her identification. Officers arrived and spoke with loss prevention employee, T. A., who stated that a female, later identified as LEBIN ABDI DIRIE (“Defendant” herein), had entered the store, selected miscellaneous merchandise, placed it in a brown bag, and then attempted to leave the store without paying.
Defendant was apprehended and was initially compliant until T. A. Stated she was calling the police. Defendant then left, stating she had a warrant. Defendant left her identification card. T. A. Recovered $73.84 worth of merchandise. Officers reviewed surveillance footage and believed Defendant was the suspect based on specific facial features. A photo lineup was later administered to T. A., who identified Defendant as the suspect. Defendant was previously trespassed from all Knollwood buildings on October 14, 2025 until October 14, 2026. At present, Defendant is not in custody.
