STEVEN MICHAEL GORDON, [DOB REDACTED], has the following prior domestic violence related convictions in the past ten years. ••-CR-••-••••, Violate No Contact Order, felony conviction 6/8/2022 (not same victim) ••-CR-••-••••, Domestic Assault, felony conviction 6/8/2022 (not same victim) On April 29, 2026, Officer Krosnowski was dispatched to the 2800 block of Asbury, Roseville, County of Ramsey. Officer Krosnowski arrived on scene and met TP. TP said her boyfriend of six years, GORDON, assaulted her on the morning of April 28th, 2026. GORDON was released from prison recently.
GORDON went to her house and approached her in her bedroom. He was upset with her because he thought she hooked up with other men while he was in prison, and she told him she had not. TP was speaking on the phone with her daughter, who is also GORDON’s daughter. GORDON took the phone out of her hands and threw it across the room. Her daughter hung up and called GORDON’s son who was downstairs to help. GORDON got on the bed, took one hand and put it around her neck and pushed her onto the bed. He was smoking a cigarette and held it in the other hand.
She was scared and tried to remove his hand. She could not breathe. When she was able to remove his hand from her neck, she rolled off of the bed. GORDON put her in a chokehold, wrapping his arm around her neck and squeezed, holding her to his body. She noticed that he placed a knife in the door to keep it shut. TP heard GORDON’s son hitting the door. He eventually broke through the frame and took GORDON off of her. GORDON left. GORDON returned to her residence on April 29, 2026 at around 1:00 A.M. She had spoken to GORDON by phone about him going over, but was not sure if he would make it because she did not pick up the phone.
He arrived at the house and entered through the unlocked sliding glass door located behind the couch. She was sleeping on the couch. He awakened her and argued with her about her possibly having relations with other men. He placed his closed fist on her right cheek and used his body weight to push down on her cheek. He punched her on her right cheek twice. TP placed a pillow on her head to prevent the punches. She did not fight back because she was afraid it would make the assault worse. After she placed the pillow over her head, GORDON punched her on the right side of her ribs.
At one point, he grabbed her right ear and hair. TP rolled onto the floor in pain and started to cry. GORDON stopped assaulting her and apologized to her. After the incident, she and GORDON engaged in sexual intercourse. She did not want to have sex because of the pain to her ribs, but she was not forced to have sex. GORDON tried to grab her prescription medication to overdose due to his actions. She prevented him from getting the drugs. She waited for him to leave before calling 911. During her interview with Officer Krosnowski, TP was in visible pain from her ribs and she cried.
