On January 27, 2026, law enforcement executed a narcotics search warrant at a storage [APT REDACTED] located at the Storage Mart located at 5525 Highway [ADDRESS REDACTED] North, Plymouth, Hennepin County, Minnesota. The target of the investigation was ADNAAN O ALI, [DOB REDACTED], DEFENDANT herein. Law enforcement observed DEFENDANT in the area of the storage unit via electronic surveillance on multiple occasions in months leading up to the warrant. They also had established a surveillance camera at the storage unit facility with the consent of management which showed DEFENDANT accessing [APT REDACTED]. On January 27, 2026, prior to executing the warrant, law enforcement observed DEFENDANT enter the storage unit holding a large, distinct grocery-style bag.
He then left without the bag. When law enforcement executed the warrant, they located the grocery-bag. Inside, they found eight-quart sized bags of a crystallized substance. There was a crate which also contained two plastic bags of a crystallized substance. There was also a document for the apartment building where DEFENDANT lived. While police were still searching the unit, DEFENDANT returned to the storage facility. He was arrested and searched incident to arrest. In a bag he was carrying, officers found more crystallized substance and a digital scale.
In total, law enforcement recovered 5,097 grams of field-tested positive methamphetamine. This quantity is significantly larger than a personal use amount and indicates intent to sell. DEFENDANT has a pending case for 1st degree sale and driving while impaired (••-CR-••-••••). DEFENDANT is currently in custody.
